Bend pressure-balanced corrugated expansion joint
Classification:
Details
Itis primarily used in pipelines transporting media such as gases, liquids, and dust. This type of expansion joint consists of a working bellows or two working bellows connected by an intermediate pipe, along with a balancing bellows, structural components such as elbows or tees, end caps, tie rods, end plates, and spherical or tapered gaskets. It is mainly designed to absorb combined axial and lateral displacements while balancing the pressure thrust of the bellows. This expansion joint does not generate intemal thrust forces on the piping system or equipment, effectively absorbing vibrations and reducing noise to ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
